I have found 2 of the 71 P. in the 2014 red book there is a value of $1000 on a ms 65. I had one that had some red and the guy that bought it said it was definitely ef as I had listed. I sold it for $50. so my question is... if a ms 65 would $1000, what would be the potential value of an ef?
CDN doesn't list them, but that's no surprise. CW doesn't list them either and that IS a surprise. So I checked eBay results and $50 for a raw one appears to be reasonable. But the Red Book listing of $1000 for a MS-65 does NOT appear reasonable. A MS-66 on eBay didn't sell at $850. Remember, Red Book prices are "best guesses" since they are 1-1½ years old when the book is printed.
