[FONT=arial, verdana, helvetica, sans serif]I bought the below and paid $299. They are as advertised.. Did I pay too much?

"You're looking at 3 consecutive 1928A $1 silver certificates in GEM condition, there are no folds, tears or pinholes can be found on these notes. These notes are in sequence order and are a little harder to find than single notes..."

    Many Thanks,
    David

I think you have a good deal.

Market prices for GEM slabbed 65's have been going for about $115-150 each.

    GEM 66's up over $200.00

Just make sure you have equally spaced margins, no handling crinkles, and razor sharp corners.

    ChCU's go for about $60-$90

Without images its all a hypothetical and smoke and mirrors. There are just to many variables to consider. On it's face I would say you paid about $50-60 to much.

Are these notes raw or in a TPG holder?

1928A's are going for ~ 55-60 USD each in ChCu63. If they are in TPG holders, which one's and what grade??

Post some pics as these "funny backs" are nice to look at.

Could go either way based on the seller's definition of GEM. I've seen some broad uses of the word. Would need to see some pics to see if you were spot on or if you overpaid. Hopefully, they are in great shape and you did okay.
