Did I just find a 2001 DDO nickle?

    Nice extra thickness in the date, the mint mark also looks like it's doubled, or is it all deteriorated dies? Date & MM.jpg

    Looks like damage IMO that caused the letters/numbers to flatten out and appear bigger. You can see the wear and tear on the rest of the coin as well. Also, the mm has MD.

    Fatter, or flattened devices aren't the best way to look for true doubling, in my opinion. Damage and circulation wear and tear can make them look that way.
