I got some coins today as part of a deal. I got Some WA tax tokens (51) and a 1976 40% silver proof quarter and a BU 1964 quarter and this neat looking 3-D 1912 barber dime.
If you're satisfied with the purchase and you're enjoying the coins, then the value doesn't matter, right? ...That's my philosophy. :thumb: -Brian
I am actually satisfied with the deal because I looked up the 1875 IHC and that practically paid off half of the payment. I also fell in love with the barber busting out pendant. As for the tax tokens, do they have any value?
Not a great deal but not a bad deal either. Got some silver and some history as none of them are being made any more. BTW the tax tokens probably need to be turned back in to help pay off our current tax deficit:devil:.
If you are happy that is what counts. Does not sound like a bad deal. I think the grading on the IHC's might be a little generous, but really hard to say since the pictures are not to clear to me. Enjoy!
The grading was on what the redbook was minus a little. I actually think I was being kinda conservative on them. Not too sure though, I just started collecting them.
