It’s a 2021 penny. I really think I found errors and I don’t even care if it’s worth a penny! I’m just excited to finally find something! Not sure what it is yet but it’s something! Or several things? Line on obverse. Doubling on reverse?
Unfortunately the lines you see are plating issues due to the micro thin covering of copper over the zinc base. Also, there is deteriorated die (worthless) doubling on the reverse. In case you are not aware, a true doubled die is not classed as an error but a variety.
Plating blisters are planchet errors. Error-ref.com. They are common and not valuable. I say they are manufacturing defects, also not valuable. But nobody else seems to agree…imo…Spark
Also.. When searching for a true Doubled Die, Keep in mind that they fall under the Variety category which is different from the Mint Error category. Some information https://www.pcgs.com/news/coin-error-or-variety And https://www.ngccoin.com/news/article/1655/Variety-versus-Mint-Error/
