Is there much interest in Devil (serial number with 666) notes? I'm thinking about posting an ad for them on the open thread, but I didn't even know if people really bothered with them.
If it's a binary note - specifically like the ones I collect (6's & 5's) then I know there would be interest - it just has nothing to do with the devil. If it's just a bunch of random numbers with three consecutive 6's, then I doubt it but then it never hurts to try and it doesn't cost you anything. GL
i agree... any note with the occurance of 666 in it, the desireability would lie in the other numbers of the serial. If the other 5 numbers were just pure random, then no, i doubt many folks would pay more then face for it. if however, the other 5 digits were all 1 number, orif the the 666 combined with the other 5 formed some collected pattern, then again, yes. but value, would depend on the serial as a whole, not just on the occurance of the 666 IMHO
All depends on the other numbers and how u market it. Maybe do a set of devil#'s (1,2,5,10,20) could have better luck and may not be that hard 2 do.
I never gave much thought about devil notes until a few months back when I saw people talking about them on a different forum. After that, I started tagging the ones I had on my own site. That being said, I don't go out of my way to find them and I certainly don't place any real importance on them. Outside of tagging them for visitors who like them, they aren't any more special to me than notes with 111, 222, 333, 444, etc.
well lord co ... send them to me i dont know about any extra value to them since im from the US and dont know much about Canada's numismatic community ... but i do like them lol Heck, i am sure a ton of folks would do also want them lol
