As I collect German coins I have a copy of this catalog. I don't read German very well but I find that it has coins which are not listed in the Standard Catalog of German Coins so it is useful. Problem is, of course, that it only covers the 18th century. Does anyone know if the equivalent catalog exists for the 17th and 18th centuries. I could not find a copy on BookFinder.com, which is where I originally found my 18th Century version.
there are the Krause Standard World Coin catalogs that have 17th, 18th, 19th century German coins in them
You did not read my post carefully enough. I already said that it does not contain all the coins which the Munzkatalog has.
I have boxes of old auction catalogs, some are in German. I have this book. its fascinating. a large portion is just German thalers : https://www.amazon.com/World-Dollars-1477-1877-Pictorial-Second/dp/B002H0WNTC
