Deteriorated Die or DDR?

    Die deterioration - note the striations extending from the center of the coin outward toward the rim.

    I agree with Chris. There are a ton of radial die flow lines.

    Ah, I don't know. It's a past-it die, and there is some strike doubling, but I'm scratching my head on whether there isn't also die doubling. As was said, we need much better pictures.

    I'm with you on this one.
    In the last two pictures when I click to blow it up the secondary doubling looks rounded to me especially on the ES & O in "states of"
    I thought that MD had a much flatter appearance to it???
