    this g looks doubled and what Variety is this on I am using variety vista rdv-005-006-007

    1989 D with wide AM

    looking under 60x the G looks fat looks like 1989-D 1¢ WDDR-001 in wex's die varieties

    It may look like the doubling on Wddr-001 but it doesn't have the same thickness. Does it have any of the other characteristics?
    Die markers? This is why it is best to post full size photos of both OBV. and Rev.

    not sure anymore on this sometimes I see a hook to the G or it just so small of a hook. in the first pic, the G looks doubled 20181008_105524.jpg 20181008_105452.jpg not sure what to call the lower part of the G

    I am not seeing the notching or extra thickness..
    I think what you are seeing is the result of a gassy planchet and plating issues.
