Hello, I have this seated dime from 1853, and on the reverse, at about 5o'clock at the "ta" IN "States" there is a clipped off piece, and there is still some design present on the coin, and I am wondering if I can please have some advice or knowledge regarding this coin? thank You in advance. 20180323_184709_Film4.jpg 20180323_185729_Film4.jpg

In my opinion it is all damage.
    No errors present.

I agree that's NOTHING but PMD (post mint damage). IMO

I double ditto, but I would also like to see the other side of the coin.

It got toolmarked from whatever damaged it. That left the interesting contours.

Something mashed it at that point but not hard enough to wipe out the design.

We might be able to help you more if we could just see a photo of the other side of the coin!
