Love it! With the smoldering Capitol building in the background, it is left as an exercise to the viewer to determine what the pile of slain zombies refers to.
Never crossed my mind but perhaps that pile originated from some "smoldering building"? Here's the entire series in order of release.
right from Provident, free shipping on orders over $99, except for discontinued rounds, most likely ebay for those..
Ha, ha! Good point. I suppose I was just curious as to why the designer likes ghoulish designs. Since I don't like zombies, I will not buy any. Sorry. Ha, ha!
They are parody coins based upon the fantasy views of a Zombie Apocalype due to the popularity of all the Zombie movies dating back to George Romeros Night of the Living Dead up through World War Z and the popular AMC TV Series called "The Walking Dead". Despite it's gore factor at times (not always like Romeros Dawn of the Dead) it's more or less a drama about the social interaction of one group of people after all the governments in the world have collapsed which eliminated all electricity, all communications, all responder services. Basically, nothing left except the will to survive while evading hoards of thousands of reanimated folks. The real kicker isn't so much the predictability of the zombies as much as it is the unpredictability of the surviving groups of people along with the inbred belief that all humans are good. The facts show that they are not. Very interesting TV series that I happened across on NETFLIX and avoiding watching for months!
The Walking Dead by AMC http://www.amc.com/shows/the-walking-dead The series starts off with a police officer getting shot and going into a coma. When he comes out of the coma, he discovers that the hospital has been trashed and there are partially devoured bodies all over the place. As he makes his way out, he finds row after row of dead bodies lines up outside in a vacant town that has also been trashed. He eventually runs into Morgan who explains whats happening. You'll enjoy it and will probably binge watch the first 6 episodes.
Interesting background. Now that I know the story behind the Zombucks series, I can understand why it is an interesting series to collect.
