Is this a minting error? Or just damage?

    Wow o_O

    DEFDAM - Definitely Damaged.

The damage occurred well after it left the Mint.
That is no kind of Mint Error at all.

You can ask any error coin or maybe error coin related questions over at the Error Coins forum of CoinTalk. First find out what you have.. Worry about value last.

Yeah, I'm going with Mint error...I hate it went they do that...they throw the coins on their parking lot for a few days, then pick them up, throw 'em in a sack, & send them to us for use. I predict there will come a time when every coin from the mint will come like this! :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:;)

Btw, it's actually worth 25 cents plus squat! (you posted this in the "What'a it Worth" forum; no big deal, since the answers will be the same)
