I may be naive but I am curious - for major coin shows like FUN and for dealers who travel long distance like California, how is their merchandise transported?

For lower end guys, in baggage. For other or bigger guys, armored car services are frequently used.

Brink's deliveries at show open, and Brink's pickups at show closing, are a big deal.

A fairly large number of guys use their own vehicles, and at major shows like ANA shows, are allowed to drive right onto the show floor in many venues, such as in Rosemont, for example.

Yeah, I can't imagine them parking in the parking lot, unloading some of their stock and just locking up the car with the rest while they take the first part to their area, and then repeating until it is all done.

So for those that air travel that do no use armored car services, I would assume they go through security with a lot valuable merchandise?

And there's no shortage of horror stories to go with it.
