DDR?

    Isn't that Longacre?

    Machine Doubling is my thought .. Longacre is more pronounced. It would be better if the photos were larger.

    I think I was taught that all doubling in this era was Longacre.

    Longacre was by design of the die. :)
    My definition of Double Machine Striking is done at first striking of planchette.
    Where my understanding of Longacre Doubling is the Master Die had Double Machining to relieve material from the die after the strike.
