Edit: this contest is now CLOSED. Winner was announced in Post #28.

When I made these slabs, I planned to give at least one away via CoinTalk, so now is the time. :)
The coin is a 2020 Transnistria Rouble featuring a forest cat.

There are only three of these made (very small production and super rare :p). The picture is just an example but you will receive virtually the same (yours will be slab #2 of 3).

    Here are the rules:

    1. To enter write "ENTRY POST" at the beginning of your post and show us your most obscure or unusual coin.

    2. You are limited to ONE entry post. Multiple entries will all be disqualified.

    3. The winner will be selected by random number generator. Your entry number will be your post number (if the generator picks a non entry post, I will run it until there is a winner).

    4. Only U.S. addresses please.

    5. Please have at least 50 coin-related postings to Coin Talk to enter.

    6. You may pick a young collector to receive the prize.

    7. For young collectors, please have your parent/guardian’s permission to enter.

    8. Contest will run until next Monday night (5.17.2021).

    Best of luck!

It looks like the obv is truck thru a very late stage capped die or an example of extreme grease.

    Cool entries so far!
And it does not have to just be coins; tokens, medals, and fantasy pieces all work too.

Entry Post - What a great and unusual prize, thank you very much. This is my Ethiopian mule - Haile Selassie would personally hand these out to visiting dignitaries. Apologies for the poor photo.

Thanks for the opportunity, @ddddd; here's one of my more obscure items, a counterfeit £1 coin. Before the introduction of the "round pound" in 2017, it was estimated that about 31 per 1,000 £1 coins were counterfeit. Generally, these counterfeits are defined by poor strike quality and mushy details.

I have soooo much "weird, obscure, and unusual" it's hard to narrow it down to just ONE . . . .

    Thanks for the contest and your generosity BTW . . . . . .

    I'll go with this one.

Can’t remember if if it was in a coin star, or where I found it. The alley is a half mile away, wondering I can still cash it in? C5B6B6EC-8C3E-4C7A-A451-7255F4EB5A34.jpeg
