Thanks Mike - I have found two radars in circulation - but nothing quite like the three I have here - These don't last long in circulation although the $1 looks like it traveled a bit before someone realized what they had!

Wait, all three are from circulation just this week? What are the chances that some kid took this from his dad's collection and spent them?!?!?!?! Nice ones!!!

 

No,no,no (don't I wish) - these three didn't come from circulation. I mentioned that the $1 looks like it was circulated and that I have two other radars that came from circulation. I don't think the two $20s were ever circulated beyond a bank teller then collectors. It would be highly unlikely to find a number sequence like these in circulation.

Still I guess you have a new theme to collect now! what a cool idea!

 

You have to wonder the potential for a site like Coolnumbers.com to maintain want lists with bid prices.

Then when someone types in a number to see it's alleged coolness and it matches someone's want list, the site can display the standing offer to buy and hook the person up with the buyer.

I was really excited when I found the 2nd $20 yesterday. Finding specific serial numbers isn't going to be as easy as I've made look the last couple days!!! I will just have to keep my eyes peeled and hopefully today I have gained a valuable resource in my search!!! Thanks for your help and advice!

I was stationed aboard the US Sub SSBN656 from 86 to 88 - this is a picture of the sub leaving port (Holy Loch Scotland). I was also born in 65 so the combination makes collecting these notes fun!
