I didn't look at the ebay auction, but if I recall correctly, that book was written in the mid-1980s or so.

I borrowed it from a friend and read it. It was an interesting read, and helped alter my perspective of the "coin market" as opposed to the hobby side of it. The prices can only go up from here mentality is certainly heavy in the book. Kind of funny at times in hindsight when he quotes the outrageous prices that common Morgans and Early Commems were bringing in gem grades.
I think it's Doug who posts the charts showing the rise and fall of the coin boom in the late 80's. This book was written sometime around the peak. Probably didn't sell too many copies after the fall.

While I have not read the book, I'm fairly positive that somewhere within it he'll relate how he was able to puchase coins on one side of the bourse and then walk over to the other side of the bourse and sell those same coins for a multiple thousand dollar profit.

His experiences in coins are what some folks dreams are made of.
