I recently found about 10 dateless 1913 Type I Buffalo Nickels (I can tell from the mound on the back). I have mostly plains but found a few D's and one S. Since they are dateless, are these worth anything? It's obvious that they are 1913 but due to the lack of date on the obverse, would they carry any value other than face? Just wondering if I should throw them with the rest of the dateless or keep them separate. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

I would keep them separate, but I don't think that they really hold much of a value over other dateless buffalos. You have to keep in mind that the 1913 is the only date with the high mound and are easily to spot.

Don't know about type I's, but restored 1913-S type II's go for $50-$75 especially when certified by ANACS (or NGC?). Don't know if they still do it, but you can find them on Heritage

I think ANACS still does, but am unsure about NGC.

As for the OP's coins, of course they are worth more than face, but don't expect that much of a premium for it... maybe a few bucks or so. I have a B&M buddy who will flip dateless TyI D&S, place them in the case, and ask $3-$6. Surprisingly enough, they actually sell well.
