I have a couple dateless buffs and I was wondering if this one might be a 1913 Type 1. I'm not sure if it is possible to tell from how worn it is but wanted to get the members thoughts here. Thanks in advance for your help.

Yes, it is a T1, You can tell by the slope of the mound in the front.

Thanks Mike. So my next question is even though it is dateless, since the year is still able to be identified, will it carry any value? Or will it be worth $.10 or $.15 since like a normal dateless buff?

Probably to a lot of collectors who want nice examples it would be, but you could probably get more for it on ebay.

I also think it might be an S mint. Unfortunately, I will not be getting my loupe until Christmas. All I can do now to magnify is look in the wrong end of my binoculars. It looks like an S when I do that but still hard to tell. These are the best pics I could get of it unfortunately. Does anyone else think there may be an S there?

Well, hard to say for certain, but it sure does look like an S, and it is in the exact spot. So a definite maybe :)

Sorry, heuvy, but judging from the pic, I doubt it. But my eyes aren't that great. ;)

Thanks guys I appreciate it. I'll wait until I get the loupe and hopefully I will be able to tell then.
