Can anyone tell the type of this 3 cent silver? There is a 6 showing in the date definitely so I am assuming it is 1856 unless you can tell the type. Can anyone tell the date?

I am trying to figure out this one too. It is 1852 or 1853 TI. Which do you think? lol. I got this lot of no date 3 cent silvers. I actually bid on other dated lots but one person seemed to go after all of them. Anyhow I got them at a good price.I would guess 1853 for below.

1853. You can tell by the curl, which is typical of the "3".

These coins are small. To get a very large photo, I would have to do some high resolution scan that takes a while. I should try it on some of these to see what shows up. Those file sizes take a lot of resources unless you post them to Photbucket. It will still take a while to load.

Granted, it's a lager coin, but it is expandable in nature. Do that with yours. BTW, this one is only 555 KB.
