Date error on 1941 penny?

    Hi, thanks in advance for any information someone might give. I can't tell if the number 1 is off center or if it used to be a number 7.

    Looks like a 47 to me with a lot of die wear or a grease filled die. I have seen a lot of 47's in my life with very weak strikes on MS red coins.

    It's actually a slanted 1
    Sometimes when Cents are put into rolls and crimped, the crimping machine will damage the last number.
    It took a hit.
