Darn this World Coin thing isn't so easy.

This World Coin identifying thing isn;t all that it's cracked up to be.

I recently bought several lots of misc. world coins, and have a few more that I just can't seem to identify.

I have some good resources, but thse are just kicking my butt.

Number 1 is Nepal - 10 Paisa

Number 2 is Nepal - 1 Paisa

I can't make out number 3 very clearly

Number 4 is from Pakistan - 5 Paisa

 

From what I can see, number 3 may be the later issue of the Nepal 1 Paisa, which was minted in 82 & 83.

Number 2 on your list was minted between 71 - 79

That's not nepal... I don't have my references with me, but I would imagine it's from Syria.

Someone will give a more positive ID soon, I'm sure.

 

try looking at the UAR it seems to ring a bell or 2 short lived republic comprising of Egypt & Syria
