    You can find no reference because it's not a coin - it's a medal.

    Yep, medal. And if you had read my reply, regarding this very piece, in a different forum about six weeks ago, you would know it is neither a coin nor from Danzig. ;)

    Chrisld, I did of course yet the medal (as stated on slab) could not be attributed which is odd as it may be a private issuance.

    Nevertheless, I find it to be a nice piece :)

    Oh, I agree it is attractive - and the design is similar to some Danzig coins indeed. But it would probably be a lot of work for a grading company to find detailed info about a medal. Especially one that was not made in the US but in Germany, probably on behalf of that Hamburg club. Enjoy the piece! :)
