I have been looking for a way to store all of my coins in one convenient binder/album. It looks like Dansco has everything that I need except there are so many products with so few pictures and explanations. My question is should I buy a binder and a bunch of blank pages to store my coins or their "supreme albums" which can also hold blank pages?? How many blank pages can an album hold and what are the dimensions of each? Also, what is a vinyl page? Thanks!!
Haven't bought anything from this online store yet, but it is a great resource for the different dansco albums, what fits as far as extra pages and the slip covers. http://www.danscoalbumstore.com/ I am a Dansco guy - love their albums and slip covers.
I like their albums, also, but I'm concerned about toning that takes place in the albums. It hasn't been an issue with my presidential dollars, but my state quarters have developed significant toning while in the Dansco albums.
I've got about 5 Dansco albums and have had no problems with them until yesterday. My Merc dime album is now a concern. It seems that the top and bottom layers of a page is separating from the holed core and the dimes are sliding under the bottom layer. It seems to be an adhesive malfunction. Anyone know what to use to correct this without contaminating the coins? Other than my problem, I like these Dansco albums. Sorry about diverting the thread. I got carried away. Bruce Bruce
