Finally finished my DANSCO Franklin album this afternoon. Like I stated before in a reply to a 2016 gold Merc post (one of the {too} many), I spent the 200 odd some dollars on finishing my Franklin album. This was alot easier than finishing the Walker album but still just as much fun finding the coins that I liked. Actually it took awhile to find coins in nice circulated to AU condition - so many out there being sold for too much in crappy condition.

Good going! My Franklin Dansco was my first complete set, so I have a soft spot for good ole Ben. I like how you filled the holes in the back, I think I'll do the same.

Nice little type set at the end.
Haven't done much with Franklin, what's the key/semi-key dates situation?

That's why I was able to collect them - there isn't that 3000$ key to complete the set - pretty much all the same price as per condition!!

I did the same thing (as a kid) with my Whitman album. :)

No - the prices of them were ridiculous - and to tell you the truth I don't even know what the hell they are - I always get MD as an answer when I post a BB!

It's a clash from the eagle's wing at Franklin's lips making it look as though he has an overbite.

Nice set. I like how the condition is very similar among the coins. How long did it take you to complete the collection?

Congrats Mark, nice going! That Bugs variety is way over hyped and as a variety not necessary anyways.
