Dansco 7125 and the 1996-W dime

I'm sure it has been talked at length here at CT regarding the somewhat inexplicable omission of a hole for the 1996-W Roosevelt Dime from the Roosevelt Dime Danscos, especially in light of the NCLT issues for which other Danscos have holes (e.g, 1973 Ikes, silver Ikes, 1981 SBAs, post-2002 Kennedys, etc.), and in light of the ultra-rare errors, overdates, or varities included in other Danscos (1922 Plain cent, 3-legged Buffalo, 1918/17 D Buffalo Nickel, etc.).

While I'm not here to pile on to those earlier discussions or debate the wisdom of what Dansco has chosen to include or exclude in its albums, I'm curious as to what other Dansco users have done with their 1996-W. Any suggestions? For now, mine's sitting in the hole for the 2026-P (the last hole on the last page of the Dansco 7125.

    Regards,
    Brian

Dansco would probably put the hole in there if more collectors would demand it. I never let an album dictate what my collection is going to be though and whether or not the hole is in the album, the 1996-W is needed to complete the set. Putting it at the end is probably the best you can do until they change the album... if they ever do.

Similarly, the nickel album should have the 1994-P and 1997-P matte proofs to be complete.

I've always looked at it as circulated or complete set. If the 1996 w had been released into circulation then it should have been included with the Dansco 7125. If it was not, which is my understanding then it would be/ should be in the Dansco 8125 album.
