I agree with Bruce. I have purchased a few dozen from them and they always are delivered fast and they price competitively.
There used to be 2 really good dealers in fleabay but one went to shiza adn hasnt mailed anything in a month or so. Have nothign but compliments about the other tho.....he ran about 10-15% below what is listed in the Dansco pages...
If you have a local coin shop near you then you might want to check there first. After you factor shipping into the price (shipping typically runs $6 to $7 an album) you'll discover it probably costs less and you get the album that same day.
I picked up a Dansco 7070 (yea I'm goona do a type set, unique huh) for my local guy from like 26.00 I think it was...
Ken. you are right about the shipping being $7.00 however in my case because the albums are 35% less then other dealers I can buy three or four at a time or other supplies and they ship them all for $7.00 I get my albums and supplies there it works for me.
Smullen. Glad to here you are starting a 7070 set believe me you will enjoy it very much and you will learn a lot about U S coinage good luck.
Yeah, I'm thinking about one of these (started the set, not sure if I'll use the album or not). My local shop sells them on their website & in store for $19.57 which seems good to me. A little OT. Have you guys noticed your albums toning your coins a lot? I've got the Jefferson w/Proofs album & noticed today that my 2006's have already started to tone a lot. Thought that was wierd.
Brian. I have had my coins in dansco albums for a few years and I have had no problems at all, however I live in Arizona that could have something to do with it. Bruce.
