I got this really bad 2 cent key date awhile back and was just wondering how well I did.

I know its not worth anything close to a problem free coin but did I over pay at $30?

I think you did just fine. The coin is damaged and would never grade but it will at least fill a hole for a fraction of what an undamaged example would cost.

hard year to get so it's a hole filler that you did fine on if that was your intention.

Greysheet bid in Good-4 is $335. A filler will retail in the $40 range so you did just fine.
