    This is an 1890-O Morgan Dollar that's been in my family for at least 50 years. The reverse shows chips in the eagle's wing. Any thoughts as to whether this is just plain damage or lamination? I apologize for the bad pictures.

    Looks like a lamination but with the small size of it and condition of the coin it will be considered neutral or negative in terms of value or ease of sale

    Tough to tell from the photos, but I agree with Cascade.
