Damage or error?

    Wheat penny with 3rd digit of date split, but field immediately around it undamaged. A little above that though, can see two little “lines” with what appears to be a small void above them. Any ideas or opinions if it’s just damaged, or possible a small error? Thanks in advance… IMG_1211.png IMG_1212.png IMG_0989.jpeg IMG_1214.png

    Your coin survived WW2 but was injured sometime after that. Damaged

    Damaged coin, your coin had a combination of environmental damage and the date took a hit.
