probably damage, just checking to make sure! input?found it odd that head and lettering is still there even though it has a channeled out apperance....rim seems untouched.
Looks like a major strike-through error, IMO. I detect signs of laminations as well. Definitely a keeper! :thumb: -Brian

Check this link for similar coins: http://www.ebay.com/sch/Coins-Paper-Money-/11116/i.html?LH_Complete=1&_kw=strike+lamination+error This one in particular is close in the type of look yours has: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...%2BpqsgvzsSSl4lwGN8v8%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc
thats if i get graded. i dont know. i cherry pick, but im not sure if my child will be better of with graded errors, or if i should sell them and buy other coins that will be of more value
pre-strike laminations aren't too common - post-strike laminations are extremely common This strike-through is fairly large and very dramatic. I see a $40-$50 coin, but again, that's just my personal opinion. -Brian
not worth enough to offset the cost of submission, though. Get a pack of some nice mylar flips and keep it in one of them.
