I have had this since I was a young boy. I always considered it to be damaged. But, when I look at it real close I see it could be something else. It may be from foreign material in the blank or a strike through. And, it could still be damage. I would like some opinions. Thank you.

You can tell that it is damage because the impression flattens the area on the opposite side. If it had been a strikethrough, it wouldn't affect the opposite side.

I always thought it was damage. But, I needed some friends to confirm. The impressions have some strange shapes and irregular depth. I will still try to figure out what would have caused it. Thanks.

Sorry but that's damaged. Your gut feeling as a boy was correct.
