D over a D, is this unique?

    I found a bunch of these in some rolls of SD quarters. What kind of doubling is this? They all look the same.

    It appears there is another d shifted down and to the right that is very faint but very visible.

    It looks like to me that someone put a patch on the coin..I don't think you will get rich with this overdate.

    It appears to be a form of mechanical doubling.

    strike doubling, not a double die.
    Very common, no value.
