This is a Civil War Token (Store Card). I acquired several years ago and have always wondered if the reverse side was intentionally a blank planchet, planed/shaved off, or ??? The obverse is for a NY Butcher. NY630BI-2a I hope the experts can chime and provide insight Thank you ahead of time for your responses. Jon

the listing has some info on the token in the description, it may be something you didn't know. I really like the token, shame yours has been ground down.
Some collectors pay big premiums for CWT's that are blank on the revere. I am not one of them. If you could get it certified as a black reverse piece, it's worth some money although the hole is a big negative.
Shame about that hole. Not sure if it's blank or ground down. It looks blank from the photos as some of them were.
