    I don't believe such a coin exist...

I think the highest grade is a 68... and they are BIG BIG bucks.

There are some Proof 68 $2.5 Indians... In mint state the highest grade is a 67.... I expect this will be similar across the board.

    LMAO!!

He got the crap picked on about 2 nights ago on the PCGS Collectors Un. board. Regards to the fingerprint removal on that stupid 3 legged Buffalo nickel. It was a very amusing read.

I think he's been banned on there now.

Maybe if you're talking about the the new Gold Buffalo coins, then MS70 grades are possible.

But in the classic Indian Gold coins, then not possible.

Some classic gold coins do exist in MS69 -- a few high reliefs, some of the 1908 Wells Fargo twenties, at least four dates of gold dollars, and isolated examples of a couple of Liberty series.

As far as I know, the gold dollars are the only ones that come in such high quality in a circulation strike and have an Indian head. You're going to have to wait, possibly for years, until one comes available in an auction to even have a chance at one of those, and those will not come cheap. (I'm guessing you know this already. :))

I don't know of any coins minted before the 1960s that have been assigned a MS70 or Proof 70 grade by either of the major grading services.

For Proofs maybe, but I don't know of any MS70's prior to the mid '80s when the bullion coins appeared.
