Current CRH, and my future CRH forecast. Share yours if you'd like....

Currently I have $2K I search with. I'm planning on upping that volume to $2,500 next month, and then capping it at $3,000 in June. Meaning I will be CRHing $3k/week.

Right now I order these per week:
1 box Dimes
3 boxes Halves

Next week I will be going to all halves:
4 boxes halves

Within the next 2 weeks I'd like to open a basic account at another bank to become my 2nd Dump Bank. Will probably check with 1 of their locations to see if they can order me 2 boxes of Pennies per week. This location I will not dump at.

So, basically in 2 weeks I'll be ordering:
4 boxes of halves/week
2 boxes of pennies/week
Dumping the halves on the weekend. And dumping the Pennies either bi-weekly or monthly. Not sure yet.

In about another month my plan is to be doing this:
6 boxes of halves/week
Not sure if I will stick with the pennies though depends on if I get bored with them or not. I figure I will just search these looking for Wheats so should be fast searching. Just want to have these around the house on the weekend to do on a Sunday night or something if I feel like searching.

How long have you been dumping 3 boxes of halves at a single bank? Any issues with that?

 

Never. I do all my dumps with the same Bank, but use different branches. I've been dumping $1K at banks lately though at times. Haven't had any issues, but I think I'll try and go back to spreading it around more, $500 maximum dumping. Thus with the increase in volume I'm projecting, I think I definitly need to open an account with another bank so I can get more access to other branches to dump at.


I use another Bank altogether for my pickups, I use 3 branches to do this.

 

I usually do 25$ of pennies and $50 in dimes a week (amateur yes i know) but I'm very new to CRH so I'm still getting the feel for it. I havent had the courage to buy an entire box of dimes yet.

 

You don't have the courage to spend $250 in cash to get $250 in coin?

Maybe you are in a populous area, but often people don't consider that there may be a limited number of armored-car delivery companies, and they may serve several different banks. Some areas have Brinks, some have Guardia, etc. Take time to be at the bank when a delivery is made or picked up. The coins picked up will go back to the company and rewrapped and sent out again, maybe to your "buy" bank, and you will see mostly the same 50 cent pieces, as they aren't very popular with businesses. Look for a "Brinks" delivery to a bank ( buy) and a Guardia, or other at the pickup bank, or reverse. Increases the chance for finding different.

Here we just have a guardia and they deliver/pickup to 3 different banks I know.

 

Nothing wrong with that. I started with mostly just Pennies for about 6 months to a year. I wished I would have started Halves or even Dimes sooner though. But Pennies are still fun to do.
