One of the biggest things to happen in the world of US Currency was the size change. Ever since I saw an example of one in the Guide to US Currency, I've been really interested in collecting the advertisements and blotters put out by banks (and other companies) showing the size of the new notes. I have seen a few, but never to buy and sadly I've only gotten my hands on one example, but would like to get as many as I can. Does anyone have any idea on where to find them or anymore info as to what a proper name for them would be? Any info would be great!
'Blotter' or 'ink blotter' is commonly used terminology while some of these had bigger titles such as "new size currency" or "new size bill" so they may be called by the title printed on the pieces used to bring awarness to the new size of the different denominations. I see them listed occassionally in Heritage Currency Auctions.
