I am thinning my collection (hoard) to a level that I can manage. I want to put up for bid some currency which never has interested me. The question, what do currency collectors look for in a description of what you have for sale? All I have to go by is the latest coin magazine. What is a KL#??? What are the stars for next to some of the KL#'S?? Any help or suggestions would be very helpful, Thanks.
Can we have some pics. and conditions of your notes ? And we'll go from there . I'm not understanding the KL , unless you are talking about something other than a $1. note . And stars are replacement notes that are used when mishaps are made during the printing process of regular notes .
pics. I have no idea what the KL# in the left column is, or what the stars are for. For that matter I could not call the condition of the bills either, they seem to be crisp tho. Are the numbers on a bill important to list when selling?? I know nothing about bills except that they dont buy as much as they used to. Thanks!
I don't know what book or reference you are using but that is just their number for reference . If you notice it gives you the star in the series column also it is just there numbers . What years/series are these bills , can't quite make them out ? Hope this helps you lakebreeze ! As for the stars , they were the year/series that had replacement notes issued for runs in that paticular series .
