I know nothing about currency and I have no idea why I saved these. I cant locate much info at all about these, does anyone have a book??? Just a ruff value will do. Before I spend em I thought I'd check here. The dollars are 1953b-barr and the ten is 1950- anderson. Thanks for any help!

The dealer I go to buys Barr notes for $1.15 each and sells them for $1.25. Apparently since Barr was only in office a month people hoarded Barr notes thinking they would be worth a lot. Very similar to the way they hoarded 1883 No-cents nickels.

I have the same thing. I have 2 Barr notes I got from work, crisp as can be matching serial numbers and my 10 dollar note is 1950 also... I don't know how much the 10 would be.
