currency names.........the wierd and wonderful

    have you ever wondered about where countries get the names from for their currencey? i'll kick this off with a 7 black dog coin from nevis.

    The word "rouble' is formed from a verb to "cut".

    1&2 Skilling one of the odder currency I have found.
    at first I thought it was just a misspelled shilling but after a look at my world coin book,I found the KM# for them.
