    Thanks for posting more pictures, but I still can't see it. I have a few overdate Morgans and they're easy to see at that magnification level.

    I can see why you are asking the question.

    a/ because of the lines either side of the '7'
    b/ the 7 seems to be a (slightly) different numerical script to the other numbers
    c/ the light reflects differently off the silver on the 7 compared to elsewhere
    d/ the 7 seems to be a different size to the other numerals

    IMHO I would suspect that the date has been played with.
