    Hello everyone,

Raining today and cloudy ugh! Decided to look at coins, haven't done this in awhile, came across this Seated Liberty dime and I can see a date looks like 18 something 3?
Wondering if you can read the date, yes I know it's in bad condition but writing down dates on my coins. Hope someone can tell me the date, greatly appreciate it.

The arrows at the date are your key. They arrows were in either 1853 or 1873. Not sure how to narrow it down from there.

1853 has stars on the obverse, 1873 has the legend, therefore yours is 1853.

Agreed it must be either 1853 or 1873. Below link is to Gerry Fortin's Liberty Seated Dime site. You can look through those pictures and descriptions and compare to your coin. You might be able to match up obverses.

    1853. It has stars. But whether it’s a 53 or 53-o I don’t know
