This roll of coins have Die Chips I have a roll of this date with a bunch of diffrent errors See the website for more photos. the date has what look is errors in the 96 on the inside loops looks to be dbl. do you feel this roll is realy worth anythink?:hammer: http://www.footmousetouchpad.com/1969_D_Error_roll.html
What you have is a die chip not a cud a cud will hug the rim of the coin sorry no premium for you coin The second coin apears to be machine doubling, but really hard to tell my the pic what i see on you coins are die chips and some lamination errors. I really don't see anything of significance. I would keep the roll anyway you may have some small dates. JC
Umm...those ARE small dates, and are worth just a little more than large dates. Also to add, 1960D small date cents are simply riddled with minor die chips and breaks like this. They are exceedingly common.
Rockdude just to enlighten us could you tell us what terminology is off? I ask out of curiosity,one cannot learn if one does not know where to look Richard
A quick look at his web-site and I noticed (and not to be to critical) 'cud' where it should be die chip, use of the word 'error' where it's not. If it doesn't matter what he uses I should retract my statement.
No you are right. I was looking at the wrong site! I'll stick my foot back in my mouth and go sit in the corner :} :} :}
Rockdude - Wrong attitude if you ask me. It DOES matter what terminology people use. Incorrect use of terminology gone unchecked proliferates confusion and incorrect usage. EVERY case of incorrect usage should be corrected.
