Cud? Die crack? PMD?

    Really beat 1961 P, I know, but that area on the obverse is raised. Whaddya think?

    Looks almost as though the rim was hit and pushed the metal inward.
    Definitely not a cud or die crack.

    It's interesting that it's raised like that but because of wear and tear it's likely PMD but I'm no expert. It is cool that it looked like the collar was moved and dropped across the coin though!

    Yeah. I said, it looks like the rim took a hit which pushed the metal inwards...I believe it is PMD.

    Copper is a very malleable metal. When hit, it disfigures easily.
