This morning I wrapped up $250 in coin rolls. I had a lot of rolls of state quarters and thought they won't be worth anything in my life time, so I'll put a few in each roll. I also added a bicentennial quarter to each roll. I'm hoping CRHs will get them.
I crossed that bridge long ago. Before I got back into collecting about 10 years ago, I had been setting aside state quarters and bicentennial quarters (along with most all of my change in bins and buckets) to review one rainy day (or years...as it were). I also salted in a bunch of circulated coinage (LWCs, Buffalo, early Jefferson nickels) since they had no real value and might contribute to a new collector being born out there somewhere. I still catch several AU state quarters in my change, so there must be a bunch of us clearing out underneath our desks.
I don't do roll hunting, so probably won't run across your rolls, but it's fun to think that you may encourage someone to start in the hobby.
