Anyone know if there's any way to tell what percentage of modern commems (US or world) would cross from NGC to PCGS, or vice versa? On the PCGS site there's a grand total but no break down. I'd bet a NGC MS69 modern (1965+) would have a pretty good chance of crossing, maybe less-so a MS70. Has anyone here crossed any of those?
Neither service will cross a 70 coin. All MS or PF 70 coins have to be broken out for evaluation and since they can't be returned in the original holder if they don't make the 70 at the other company they are treated as a raw submission.
