CROOKED D?

This is more than likely nothing, but I would like to ask you if the D on this

1976 D penny, that is slightly crooked and semi filled in is PMD? Or?

It's not PMD. It's or. That is to say, filled and crooked.

 

Prior to 1989 mint marks were hand punched into the dies so a lot depended on how keen an eye the puncher had, these would often be orientated different ways.
