    Too bad. I liked the design.
    This did the designer in: "authors participating in the tender were required to submit a written guarantee confirming that their work was an original intellectual creation made exclusively for the purpose of the tender."

    If they saw one of those critters in a zoo years gone buy and when they were designing the coin, it just popped up. Is it plagarism when you see a critter and you think it would look nice on a coin, i.e., a "bucking horse" for instance?

    ...I mean, the branch that he is on in the photograph is different than the one on the coin. Perhaps it was a different pine marten on a different branch?...
