Hi all. I was just looking through my Christmas money and I found a crisp $100 with a serial #HB 46266264 I. I'm assuming it's a 'radar' note, but I don't collect currency. I've never even gotten a $1 radar. Do people collect or pay extra for this type of note? Thanks in advance.

I don't have access to a camera at the moment. The note has not been folded in half. Are any of the other numbers or letters on the note of any importance? The series date is 2006. I don't see any letters or numbers on the reverse. There's a small partial fold of about 1/4" on the lower left corner that I think either came from the bank that way or was slightly folded in the envelope, otherwise it looks brand new with good centering. Should I press it or iron it to make it perfectly flat? I know nothing of currency, only that people collect $1s with interesting serial numbers.

I did a completed auction search on eBay and I could only find one $100 radar note that was in the same condition as mine and it didn't even sell for $170, so I'm assuming that they don't carry much of a premium.

No... do not press the note... leave it as is..

The corner fold will reduce it to AU as well as reduce the premium some..still a nice find.
