NCGS http://www.nationalcoingradingservice.com/ I don't think they are hermetic sealed. A hermetic seal is an airtight seal.
The only problem will be trying to re-sell. There are a lot of grading services out there but only 4 that are normally recognized (PCGS,NGC,ANAC,ICG) and only 2 (PCGS,NGC) that most people use more. And ANAC, mostly for errors that the other 3 won't grade. The price of $10.00 is not bad but the others run periodic specials.
Ironically enough I was on CL today and saw this coin in a slab and didn't know who produced it. It's an 1889-CC Morgan. On CL here. Legit or no?
See that little circular symbol in the lower left corner? That's CoinWorld; as shown above, it's just an inexpensive slab-like holder anyone can buy, and the seller is doing nothing wrong by offering the coin inside of one. Now I will say that the "premier" holders (such as this one) are obvious, cheap, and cheezy (IMO, of course) but CoinWorld/Amos did sell (or at least sold) another smaller style similar to the old ANACS holders which were quite nice. However, and as a somewhat interesting aside, being as the inserts are the same size as the old white ANACS (white was sold with them at one time, but discontinued IIRC), it was possible to take a genuine ANACS insert and label, and put it in one of these aftermarket holders. Slap the back sticker from the genuine slab on the back of the aftermarket (to cover "CoinWorld"), put a price sticker on the front to hide the logo, and what you had was something that very much appeared to be an old ANACS slab. This was not something that would fool one familiar with the real deal, of course, and the CoinWorld holders were thicker than a real ANACS, but could have slid by someone who did not know what they were doing.
